長期從事人類造血干細胞基因編輯與血液系統(tǒng)遺傳病的基因治療研究,近五年主要學術(shù)成果包括:1)率先建立人造血干細胞CRISPR文庫篩選,解析重癥先天性粒細胞減少癥機制,開發(fā)造血干細胞通用型基因治療策略;2)設計非編碼區(qū)單堿基分辨率CRISPR篩選策略,精準鑒定調(diào)控元件及致病變異;3)開發(fā)新型基因編輯工具,結(jié)合多組學數(shù)據(jù)分析致病變異及機制。研究成果獲國際同行廣泛關注和高度評價,為血液疾病治療提供了新手段、新機制、新靶點。
